ITINERARY
Sep 16
Day 01 Islamabad – Lowari Pass – Bamburet ( Kalash Valley )
Early departure from Islamabad for Bamburet in Chitral via Malaknd Pass to reach Dir. After a break for lunch in Dir, we will resume drive for Bamburet crossing Lowari Pass winding over the Lowari Mountain. On the other side of the mountain, we again find asphalt road and arrive in Bamburet in the evening. Night stay in Bamburet.

Day 02 Chitral – Bamburet Sightseeing - Chitral
Chitral Town is dominated by the view of distant Tirich Mir, the highest peak of Hindu Kush range of mountains. River Chitral is flowing through the town and offers superb views for photography. At Chitral, we make a brief sightseeing tour an after getting ticket visit Kalash Valleys, we drive to Bamburet, the main village of Kalash.

Kalash are an exotic feature of the region, these tribes are contrast to rest of the country.
Their culture, religion, customs and habitat is unique and interesting.

Day 03 Chitral – Gol National Park - Shandur Pass
After some free time in Bamburet, we depart from for Mastuj in upper valley. In Mastuj, we enjoy some good time, away from bustling life of towns.

Day 04 Shandur Pass – Phander – Gupis – Gilgit - Naltar Valley
After breakfast, we drive up Shandur Pass at 3734m above sea level, situated at the border of Gilgit and Chitral regions. Shandur is known for its annual tournament of Polo, which is held at one of the highest Polo grounds in World. After photography and free time at Shandur, we start driving down crossing Ghizer valley en route. Phander is one of the most picturesque places in the north, where we make a brief stop. Later resuming drive, we reach Gilgit in the evening, continue to Naltar valley

Day 05 Naltar valley – Atabad Lake – Passu – Shimshal
We depart early from Gilgit and making a couple of photostops at Atabad Lake and Passu glacier view point, we drive by jeeps to Shimshal Valley. Shimshal is a far flung place with peaceful and hospitable people.

Sep 21
Day 06 Shimshal – Passu – Khunjerab Pass – Karimabad
We drive back to Passu and make an excursion to the Sino-Pak border at Khunjerab. Khunjerab is the highest point on KKH at 4734 meters and considered as the highest trade route in the world. In the evening we will return to Karimabad and on arrival transfer to hotel for night stay.

Day 07 Karimabad ( Hunza Valley )
At Karimabad, we visit Baltit & Altit forts and rest of the time is free to explore bazaar and the village.

Sep 23
Day 08 Karimabad – Kachura – Upper Kachura
We will start driving on KKH and leave the highway at Alam Bridge for Skardu. Our onwards journey is through the narrow and barren gorge of Indus and the scenery changes at Kachura, a picturesque lake of Baltistan. We drive further drive to upper Kachura and make a camping night besides the lake.

Sep 24
Day 09 Skardu – Khaplu
Khaplu is divisional headquarter along the River Shyok. We drive make a night stay at Khaplu and earlier visit Khanqah-e-Chaqchan in Khaplu.

Sep 25
Day 10 Skardu – Deo Sai Plains
After breakfast, we drive to Deo-Sai plains, making a brief photostop at Satpara Lake en route. Deo-Sai is a treeless wilderness of rolling grassland at an average height of 4000m above sea level. We reach at Bara Pani, the main river at Deo Sai and make a memorable camp night.

Sep 26
Day 11 Deo Sai – Day free ( Optional Brown Bear Sighting )
Day free to make side visits at Deo Sai and to get a chance of viewing Himalayan Brown Bears.

Sep 27
Day 12 Deo Sai – Rama
Excursion Rama Lake
We start descending in Astore region and continue our drive through Chilim Chauki and Astore to Rama. At Rama, we make an excursion to Rama Lake and camp for night stay at Rama.

Sep 28
Day 13 Rama – Fairy Meadows
We start early for a great but soft adventure at the base camp of Nanga Parbat - 8125m, the lone giant of Himalayas and the only second highest in Pakistan after K-2. We drive to Raikot Bridge on KKH and onwards to Jail ( Tato ), by jeeps at foot of Fairy meadows. From the end of jeep track, it is a hike of about three hours to the legendary place Fairy meadows, which is truly named with unsurpassed views of Nanga Parbat. At Fairy Meadows tents or log cabins are available for accommodation.

Sep 29
Day 14 Fairy Meadows – Excursion Nanga Parbat Base Camp
We start hiking with a soft walk of two to three hours, through the dense pine forest and later through birch trees and along shallow streams which takes us to Beyal, a summer settlement of shepherds with stunning views of Nanga Parbat - 8125m.

From Beyal, we hike to base camp crossing tails of glaciers with well identified track. At base camp, a monument had been erected in the memory of climbers died on the mountain. After a packed cold picnic lunch at base camp, we will return to our campsite.

Sep 30
Day 15 Fairy Meadows – Chilas – Naran
After an early breakfast, we start descending to Jail and drive to Raikot Bridge and onwards driving on KKH, we will reach Chilas. Later we will resume drive and crossing Babusar Pass, enter into Kaghan Valley. We reach Naran and stay in hotel for night.

Oct 01
Day 16 Naran - Excursion Lake Saif-ul-Muluk
Naran – Islamabad
Early morning visit to the legendary lake, Saif-ul-Muluk at 3200m. where Malika Parbat ( 5271m ), the highest peak of the valley and later time permitted River Rafting in Naran.

In the noon, we leave for Islamabad via Mansehra and Abbottabad and on reaching Islamabad, drop at one designated place.

Price for above itinerary is Rs. 89,000 per person
